Dolomiti Superski Refunds 2026: Who Is Eligible and How to Claim

6 min read

Waiting & Monitoring

TL;DR: You may qualify for a 20% cash refund or a 30% voucher if you bought a 1–31-day single-valley ski pass during the 2022/23, 2023/24 or 2024/25 season.

As of 20 August 2026, the claims portal is not live. Dolomiti Superski has committed to opening it by 15 October 2026.

In July 2025, AGCM - Italy’s competition authority - opened an investigation into Dolomiti Superski over how ski passes for individual Dolomite valleys were priced and sold.

Their concern was that Dolomiti Superski was imposing too many restrictions on the local resorts (valley consortia), preventing them from independently setting competitive prices and choosing their own distribution channels.

As a result, Dolomiti Superski proposed a number of changes to address these concerns, together with a compensation scheme for affected customers. AGCM accepted the proposal and closed the case. Below are the key points.

Key dates

Last updated: 20.8.2026

  • 9 July 2025AGCM opens an investigation into Dolomiti Superski over the pricing and distribution of local valley ski passes.
  • 1 August 2025Dolomiti Superski voluntarily suspends rules that could conflict with competition law.
  • 6 August 2026AGCM accepts Dolomiti Superski’s proposed commitments and closes the case without making a final finding of an antitrust violation.
  • 15 October 2026Deadline for Dolomiti Superski to have the online compensation portal available to eligible customers.

How much compensation can you receive?

The 12 valley consortia have committed €30 million to the scheme. Eligible customers can choose one of two benefits:

  • a cash refund equal to 20% of the amount originally spent; or
  • a voucher equal to 30% of the amount originally spent, for future daily or multi-day winter valley passes.

For example, if you spent €100 on an eligible pass, you can request either €20 in cash or a €30 voucher. The voucher is worth €30; it does not give you 30% off the price of a future purchase.

The voucher can be used across more than one purchase, can be combined with other applicable promotions and is valid through the end of the 2028/29 winter season. You may choose any participating valley when making the claim, not only the valley where you originally bought your pass, but the voucher is then used for passes in your chosen valley.

The funds are capped and first come, first served

The €30 million is split into two separate pools:

  • €12 million for cash refunds. This is available from the launch of the scheme and is divided into sub-funds for each valley consortium.
  • €18 million for vouchers. This becomes available in three €6 million tranches for the 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29 seasons. Unused money rolls into the following season.

Benefits will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while the relevant funds remain available. Crucially, priority is based on when a claim is validated and processed, not merely when it is submitted. Apply early and include clear proof of purchase if the system cannot verify your purchase automatically.

Dolomiti Superski refund eligibility

To qualify, you must have bought one or more eligible passes in one of these three winter seasons:

  • 2022/23
  • 2023/24
  • 2024/25

Purchases from earlier seasons and the 2025/26 season are not eligible. Nationality and country of residence do not affect eligibility.

Dolomiti Superski voluntarily suspended the relevant rules on 1 August 2025, before the 2025/26 winter season began. The compensation scheme therefore covers the three preceding seasons, when those rules were still in place.

Which ski passes qualify?

The official documents define eligible products as daily or multi-day valley passes (skipass vallivi, giornalieri o pluri-giornalieri) valid for 1–31 consecutive days. In practice, this means a pass for one of the 12 local Dolomiti Superski ski areas:

  • Cortina d’Ampezzo / San Vito di Cadore / Auronzo-Misurina
  • Kronplatz / Plan de Corones
  • Alta Badia
  • Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi
  • Val di Fassa / Carezza
  • Alpe Lusia / San Pellegrino
  • Civetta
  • Arabba / Marmolada
  • 3 Zinnen Dolomites
  • Val di Fiemme / Obereggen
  • San Martino di Castrozza / Passo Rolle
  • Rio Pusteria / Bressanone

The following products are not eligible:

  • Dolomiti Superski passes covering the entire network;
  • season passes, including local or valley season passes; and
  • products other than standard 1–31-day single-valley passes.

If your payment records show an eligible purchase but do not establish whether you bought a valley pass or a full-network Dolomiti Superski pass, you cannot receive a cash refund. You may still qualify for a voucher calculated using the proportion of valley-pass sales at the relevant consortium.

How to claim a Dolomiti Superski refund or voucher

Dolomiti Superski has committed to opening a dedicated online portal by 15 October 2026. The official commitments describe the process as follows:

  1. Register as an individual on the portal.
  2. Choose either a cash refund or a voucher.
  3. Let the system check whether its records confirm your eligible purchase.
  4. If the automated check fails, upload suitable proof, such as a credit-card or bank statement.
  5. If approved, receive the refund through the IBAN supplied with your claim or the voucher by email.

Claims can be submitted during the 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29 winter seasons. There is no separate filing deadline in the commitments, but both forms of compensation remain subject to available funds.

As of 20 August 2026, Dolomiti Superski has not yet published the portal address. We will continue to monitor the official channels and update this guide when claims open.
